Course description 

Today, the construction industry is rapidly developing, which requires the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of design, construction, operation, and reconstruction of construction objects. The professional activity of a construction engineer is related to the following functions: organization of construction production and management of construction processes, design of metal, reinforced concrete, stone structures, floors, and foundations, as well as structural elements of the structure in general; contributing to the solution of such issues as water supply, heat, and gas supply and ventilation, as well as the drawing-up of technical documents.

What they will learn:

During the course of study, students of the " Construction" department will receive all the necessary knowledge on the design, creation, use, and reconstruction of building objects and systems, as well as on the field of architecture and construction. Future builders study subjects such as engineering graphics, mechanics, civil engineering, architecture, and building construction fundamentals, as well as building materials. They also master the basics of life safety organization and management in construction. They will have the opportunity to practice in construction companies, design organizations, and architectural bureaus.

Employment Opportunities

After completing the course, graduates of this major will have the opportunity to work in design and construction organizations and firms engaged in the design and construction of transport, industrial, and civil facilities. In design organizations, they can occupy the positions of engineer-designer, and draftsman, and in construction organizations, they can occupy the positions of construction foreman, and construction process manager.
