In accordance with Presidential Decree No. PF-158 of September 11, 2023, “On the Strategy ‘Uzbekistan – 2030’,” Presidential Decree No. PF-5847 of October 8, 2019, “On the Approval of the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030,” and Presidential Decree No. PF-6119 of November 27, 2020, “On the Approval of the Strategy for Modernization, Rapid and Innovative Development of the Construction Sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2021-2025,” in order to ensure the quality implementation of the tasks specified, to improve the quality of education at universities, to support scientific research in this direction, and to discuss scientific studies on urgent issues, achievements in practice, and mechanisms for fulfilling the set tasks by researchers in various fields, an International Scientific-Practical Conference on the topic "Prospects and Challenges of Digitalization in the Educational Process" will be held at the Samarkand Branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent on September 25-26, 2025.

The international conference will be held in both offline and online formats at the Samarkand Branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Foreign and local scientists, professors, practitioners, researchers, and students are welcome to participate with their scientific articles.

Each scientific article will be published for a fee of 100,000 UZS, provided it passes the expert review process.

In April and May of this year, students from the medical education programs of the Samarkand branch of the KIMYO International University in Tashkent returned with honorable 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards from international science olympiads held in the cities of Urgench and Bukhara. The winners were presented with valuable commemorative gifts by the university administration, and letters of appreciation were given to their parents.
It is worth noting that in the 2024/2025 academic year, the branch began admitting students into its medical education programs for the first time. It is encouraging to see that the very first cohort of medical students is already making a name for themselves and achieving victories at international science competitions.
Notably, the achievements of the branch’s students at both national and international levels are steadily increasing. Students who work tirelessly on self-improvement and strive to acquire new knowledge are not only the pride of the university, but also the hope of the nation!
Students studying Korean language from higher education institutions in Samarkand participated in the "Korean Language Oratory Art" competition organized by the King Sejong Institute.
We are proud to announce that two students from the Samarkand branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent achieved victory in this event.
Anora Abdurasulova, a second-year student majoring in Korean Philology, won 1st place and secured the opportunity to participate in the international final stage of the competition, along with a one-week trip to South Korea this fall.
Additionally, Feruzabonu Daminova, a first-year student in Korean Philology, took the honorable 2nd place.

M. Annayev, Head of Medical Education Programs at the Samarkand Branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, and O. Sharipova, Head of the Department of Medical and Fundamental Sciences, are taking part in the 59th Annual Conference of the “European Society of Clinical Investigators” in Genoa, Italy.
More than 300 researchers and medical professionals from prestigious international universities and research centers around the world are attending this conference.
The conference is being held at the large San Martino Polyclinic Hospital located in Genoa.
An Open Day was held at the Samarkand branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent for school and academic lyceum students interested in the Korean language.
Graduating students from general education schools and academic lyceums in Samarkand attended the event. During the program, students were informed about the university’s facilities, the Korean language program, the TOPIK exam, opportunities to study in South Korea, and available scholarships.
Additionally, students had the chance to sing Korean songs together with K-pop tracks and play traditional Korean games. The specially created Korean atmosphere at the event left a unique impression on the participants.

Today, the SofEXPO Exhibition Center hosted the “World Edu-2025” international education exhibition. Along with both Uzbek and foreign higher education institutions, the Samarkand branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent also participated in the event, providing information about the university to guests, prospective students, and their parents.
The university's presentation, engaging Q&A sessions, and an exhibition of clothing designed by students from the fashion design department left a strong impression on attendees.
"Well done, girls" competition was held under the leadership of professors and teachers and graduate students of the Samarkand Branch of the Kimyo International University in Tashkent. Students of "English education" department took part in the contest.
In the competition, the girls competed on the basis of introduction, blitz questions, free topic and scene presentation.

Exhibition DAY - 1, an exhibition of creative works created by students of architectural, dress and interior design directions, was organized At the Samarkand branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, an exhibition of creative works dedicated to the end of the autumn semester of students and young people studying in the fields of architecture, dress and interior design was organized. The scientific article "Effectiveness of using student-centering methods in learning foreign languages" by Nasiba Abduvaliyeva, a 1st-year student of Samarkand branch of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, was published in the International journal "International journal of scientific researches".

M. Khamrayev, dean of day and evening education of Samarkand branch of Tashkent International University of Kimyo, and O. Olimov, head of marketing and admissions department, returned from a business trip to the Republic of Belarus.
They met with Sednina Marina Aleksandrovna, director of the Institute of International Distance Education of the National Technical University of Belarus, and discussed the prospects of both universities.
As a result of the agreements, the conclusion of 2+2, 1+3, (1+1 for master's level) programs and other agreements between the Belarus National Technical University (BNTU) and the Tashkent International University of Kimyo in the Republic of Belarus is envisaged.
In the future, BNTU students will have the opportunity to study at KIUT, and KIUT students will have the opportunity to study at BNTU.
